Bill Holmes has passed away. He was a former member of BARF and still active in Light Sport Aircraft. He apparently died in his trailer Saturday night at the Sun N Fun Fly In and Expo in Lakeland Florida.  Bill had obtained his Light Sport Repairman-Maintenance rating for Powered Parachutes as well as Airplane and Weight Shift and was an authorized Rotax repair station. He did repairs, maintenance, and annual/100 hour inspections on your ELSA/SLSA aircraft. His company, Born To Fly was at Huber Airport in Seguin TX. His wife Vanessa sewed chute bags, line socks and accessories for powered parachutes through his other business, Just Plane Stuff.

Bill was a friend of many members in BARF and will be missed.
